Doubt! Interview from 1982!

The interviewer asks how did Steve come up with the name Iron Maiden.
And Steve replies that it is named after the Medieval torture device.

Both Steve and Bruce loved to be in front of the stage and stand on the central PA monitors. Bruce didn't like Steve to be there since he (Bruce) thought that it's the place where the singer belongs. That is why he used an extra long mic stand - for pushing Steve away if he tried to take over the central monitors.

anyway ill stop being an ass now  :ninja:. thats pretty much the story but i think nowerdays at least the egos have died down and they arent as bad  ::)

ok, I already knew the meaning of the question. But I do not know what words the interviewer, and Steve uses because they speak very fast. You can write all the words that the interviewer and Steve use?

"How come select the name 'iron maiden'?"
"How they come select the name 'iron maiden'?"
"How select the name 'iron maiden'?"
"Why you select the name 'iron maiden'?"
Steve:
"Well it's a, you know, it's like a medieval torture device"

They talk too fast for me too. Maybe one of the British members can understand. May I ask why you need to know exactly what words were used?
