Surprises me somewhat, given some things I've seen from you in other posts.
It won't be long before I'll be voting for it too, and it's certainly not an obvious song, but I kind of regard as one of the essential tracks on Magica.
It's a very theatrical, soundtrack-type song with some interesting musical flourishes and works very well in the context of the album.
And Ronnie sounds fabulous, but that goes without saying, doesn't it?

You motivated to play this song. I think it's very monotone. Most of the time this same tone, a kind of non-melodic bleak imitation of Heaven and Hell (the title track). I think the vocal lines are boring too.

This song has the variation of an Iranian ayatollah -> none

No, I rather go for the more adventurous, dynamic and -most important!- melodic Dio songs.

Foro, I enjoy many of your posts because you can inevitably point out things to appreciate about dull, or dullish songs.
I consider Eriel one of those songs and I was just trying to return the favour.
I wasn't trying to change your mind. But I am glad I inspired you to give it another listen.
