Me too, that softer mid-piece and the stuff right after is very good.I particularly like the softer mid-piece.
Damn you mckindog for not promoting more songs! This round is now virtually impossible and I fear these (incredibly overlooked) Master of the Moon songs are going to vanish....
So, with that in mind, I'm abandoning some Rainbow/Sabbath songs that deserve the votes but I assume will get votes from some other people.
Temple of the King
Neon Knights
Country Girl
Bible Black
Country Girl
One More for the Road
The Eyes
Death By Love
I wish I could also vote for The Man Who Would Be King and Living the Lie, which are both awesome songs, but alas, we only have so many votes.![]()
I agree wholeheartedly on Master of the Moon.
Going to give it a serious listen before I vote, but I don't think there is an obvious weak link on there.
At the same time, there aren't any 10/10s either, so I think the majority are going to vanish pretty quickly, especially when I think my favourites will be different than yours.
I have been doing that several times. Can't eliminate tactical voting for Forostar. So, with that in mind, I'm abandoning some Rainbow/Sabbath songs that deserve the votes but I assume will get votes from some other people.
Glad to see Wishing Well support. But imo Turn of the Night is a much weaker version of Neon Knights. Way less good (in every possible way), and adds nothing else ("Hey, let's do that again". Meh. Duh.).Reaching back to the previous round, I guess one of the reasons why I like Mob Rules better than most is because I like the two opening tracks a lot: Turn Up the Night bubbles with a sweltering energy and Voodoo is built around such a monster riff.
I'm also glad to see Wishing Well and Lady Evil hanging in there. Of the two Well is the better song. Such a bittersweet melody over a bright arrangement.
