Different takes on Maiden songs

Ha, I was waiting for that. Still a great version, though.
I console myself with the fact that I've never paid for any of his original music. Although I'm pretty sure that Weinstein guy has had some value out of me. And Nestle. Actually pretty hard to avoid all the cunts of this world.

I've always liked Absu's take on Transylvania. Prosciptor (the drummer) sounds like a hyperactive kid with candy on the drums and he just can't sit still. He's a beast of a drummer, check out "Tara" by Absu if you like this.

Finnish artist Anssi Kela, relatively big name here in Finland, covered Wasted Years. The arrangement isn't too bad, the somewhat "springsteeny" approach fits the song well enough. The performance itself is a bit lousy though, but then again, it doesn't seem too rehearsed or serious anyway. So yeah, nice tribute, but a bit... Off as a performance. You can also tell that English isn't his "primary singing language."
