Did Eddie potentially ruin Maiden for people?

I really don't like the album covers so much (except AMOLAD & Dance of Death) and the only thing that makes me love Iron Maiden is their HUGE PERSONALITY AND THEIR MUSIC ...
I must say that before I found Iron Maiden I didn't love any music , and I didn't emphasis music in my life ... Since I found Maidens I UNDERSTOOD WHAT IS MUSIC!  :shred:
