Death Metal

I wonder if anyone here likes the band Suffocation. Great Death metal, can be put under Brutal/Technical sub-genres. I'm actually getting into them. Their songs have such crazy breakdowns, I'll say many modern Death metal/Deathcore bands are actually influenced by them. Terrance Hobbs is a great guitarist, vocalist Frank Mullen's (no longer in the band) "air chopping" hand gesture is already iconic.

They were also featured in an advertisement for History Channel!

I don't listen to death metal much anymore, but when I'm in the mood for brutal death, the first and the third Suffocation album (along with Mortification's Scrolls of the Megilloth) are usually what I put on.
