The average song rating by album is very interesting.

It offers a very different perspective. Sometimes people can like an album, but have less to say about the inner songs (it's more a mood, a flow, that they like, but less a particular song).

Shows also that, maybe, some albums are usually defended on other grounds that the simple inner quality of the songs. People can have an attachement to an album for various reasons (the album that got them into Maiden, the year it was released meant something, etc.).

Be quick last, wickerman, futureal, lord of the flies at the end, i mean those are all popular and good songs, wich means that we need woting. every site has its own woting through albums, and here we have only ratings. Rating = giving an appreciation of how much you like/dislike a song
Voting = giving rates only on songs that you like

I prefer the rating, in the way that everyone can give their subjective views of what they think of a particular song, the law of average indicating how much the majority appreciates a song.

btw: ive been on Toronto concert (3rd of aug) and it was great ! The fans dissapointed me, i was the loudest out there (im from croatia), and Irons sounded great ! The sound on Molson Theathre was AWESOME ! I dont like the fact they played only the first 4 albums [!--emo&:(--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/sad.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'sad.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

I would first like to apologize for an egregious error I made in the 2004 calculations. I didn't include the song The Number of the Beast. This threw off everything from 05, and I will be including that in the calcs.

Note: I have 2006 numbers. They are in the spreadsheet given above and you can go look if you'd like. However, they are extremely flimsy numbers. Anyone who knows statistics can look at them and see that they were either faked or gathered from a small percentage of people. Yes. The other numbers were lost. The service Mav used for his polls seems to no longer exist; we'll be starting afresh.

Between 200-300 for 04 and 05 numbers; around 2000-3000 for the 08 numbers (Mav had them up on the IMC for awhile). However, I think that when we normalize the 2010 numbers following the current polls, we'll see the average album rankings drop.

Basically, opening up the polls to the general public didn't hurt the Blaze albums - it gave the Bruce albums a kick in the pants. In fact, on average, the X Factor and VXI had the same numeric rating on the Forum polls as the public polls.

Right now we only have around 20-30 votes going for each of the songs...
