I need to lose some steam here...

In one of my posts I explained a problem I had with the police, now I have to go to Social Services everytime they call me, but I'm losing classes at school, which are ending up in bad grades.

I'm desperate, my life is going to hell and I didn't even do anything wrong.  It's all fucked up, and all this bureocracy is giving me such a pain.

Damn this.

That actually constitute a real problem... (no offense to anyone else in here...)

My advice:
Next time they call, tell them "No, I'm gonna miss class, we have to reschedule..."

If they (meaning the caseworker) gives you any grief over that, report him/her to his/her supervisor, on grounds that (for example): "its hardly the social services intension that I'm (meaning you) are going to miss classes... quite the contrary..."

I've just failed a physicstest in school, I will fail the upcoming chemistry test because of various reasons. Well... That's about it... So you all better say that my situation is bloody worse than yours!  :uhm:  :innocent:

I withdraw that statement! I passed 'em both, so neverr mind my "crappy week".  :D

You obviously don't know how Mexican beurocracy works :D They would just laugh in your face.

Well... be that as it may, me lacking knowledge in... Mexican... bureaucracy...

I think the guy, according to a British newspaper I came across some years ago, who went to court and actually got another inmate (strange tings happen in jail) sentenced for... get this... RAPING HIS NOSTRILS!!!

...tops any story we can conjure up...

Damn...

either that must have hurt like hell, or the rapist with the "unorthodox" approach had a REALLY small Willy... Ill try to reframe from pointing out the aspect about collecting the technical evidence, so Ill stop writing now...

That reminds me of a joke.

This guy comes home and tells his wife, "Woman! Get your ass down here, I'm gonna fuck you through your ears!"

She says, "What if I go deaf?!"
"You haven't gone mute have you?!"

It's French!  Why do you think it has an inordinate number of vowels in a row? :innocent:

You mean like eau pronounced "o".  :P

At least it is consistent, unlike English.

Back on topic.  I'm having a crappy week.  So much work; so little time.  I'm stressing so I came here to relieve it.  I was supposed to have another birthday dinner party, but I had to postpone it.  I'll have to overeat next time, I guess.  :)

To say I'm worried, would be an understatement.

Could this be the start of a pretty crappy week for me, perhaps - but I really should not look too negatively upon it. It begins with myself and some of my colleagues attempting to recover our infrastructure at a remote location (a so called Disaster Recovery test). This in itself is not a concern as I am fully confident that (at least the section I am responsible for) it will be recovered into a fully working order as I have done this several times before - but this time, I am shadowing someone else to do my bit (there can be no guarantee that I will be there to do it, so others need to be able to follow my procedures).

So what is it that I am worried about?

Firstly, I hate traveling mid-to-long distances in a car (this is a real DR test, we can't go by train). This, for some inexplicable reason, gives me sleepless nights before hand.

Secondly, while I am 100 miles away from home, my dog (the Jack Russel) is to have a general anaesthetic to allow his back leg to be x-rayed - his back leg that he injured chasing a frigging ball. There is a risk that he may not come out of the anaesthetic for something the vet may or may not find (in essence, they are looking for a fracture). The last place I would want to be when he goes under, is 100 miles away.

But, possibly just as much a concern, my Mother goes under for a hip operation. For some reason, I have less worries about this as the equipment and team of people to monitor one human going under general anesthetic is a lot, lot more than for one dog. Yes, for good reason, but people do tend to get fond of their own pets - and take the welfare of these animals seriously.

Both are worrying. Both are a concern.

I think you are doing a good thing preparing for the worst, but at the same time, once you have come to terms with that, think happy thoughts and hope for the best, that way you don't have many restless nights and IF (hopefully not) something bad does happen at least you were ready for it. Good luck with it all.
