Compulsory registration

Being a wee bit fed up with some guests who post the most surrealistic messages, I have decided to render the registration compulsory in order to post in the Commentary's forum.

This should limit the number of "Maiden are free-masons responsible for the 11th September attacks" kinds of wacky posts [!--emo&:blink:--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/blink.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'blink.gif\' /][!--endemo--] -- well I hope!

I also hope that this isn't a problem for the regular posters of this forum, but please let me know your thoughts on the matter.

It's a good idea and I agree with shadow. I'm not bothered by those posts at all, when I do see one, the member's replies are what they always are, intelligent, polite and defuse the problem quickly. [!--emo&:rock:--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/headbang.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'headbang.gif\' /][!--endemo--]
 
This applies only for the Commentary's forums (English and French). Guests can still post in the other forums.
 
Although the main boards have the same precaution for Maidenfans, I believe. (Maiden Chat and General Discussion)
 
good stuff there. I much prefer this board to the main maiden board, cos there's less of the random "purchase a book on islam" stuff. its ncie to have intellectual discussions on maiden songs. I think I've probably annoyed my mates with my strange sad knowledge of maiden, so its nice to find guys who will probably end up in a maiden insanity institution with me!
