Classic cinema - thoughts and questions

There's a Christmas episode scheduled for 2015, and three additional episodes for early 2016.

Excellent news, I was concerned that the success of the main actors would slow down/flat out stop this show.

Last night I dreamed I met Bruce Dickinson backstage at a Maiden show right before the start of a concert. He was trying to apologize to me because someone on the Maiden road crew had run over my buddy with a forklift, but he was short on time because he had to run onstage.

Assuming that my dream is correct, I know what Bruce is wearing onstage for the next tour. It's something new, but still looks like it came from an Army Surplus store.

Wrong thread? :)

3 of his better films were shot in Northern California, I visited many of the places when I lived there.

Shadow of a Doubt in Santa Rosa (used to live there)
Birds in Bodega Bay, cool .. but weird area
Vertigo in San Fran and Muir Woods

Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) is making a trilogy of movies about life in Canada. He's calling it the True North Trilogy. The best part:

The third installment of Smith's True North trilogy is to be titled Moose Jaws, to which Smith says it's basically "Jaws with a moose"

:okok:

The other side:

I am watching the Twilight Zone (original TV show) on Netflix and am up to Season 3. The Episode "To Serve Man" ... all time classic TV, probably my favorite of the series

That one is high on my list as well. My favourite could be "Time Enough At Last".
:notworthy: Very strong and fun story!

That would be a hard one to argue against as well, really good story. I have enjoyed watching all these again, it has been a while. Especially when I get to the 1 hour ones, those were rarely in re-runs

I still haven't finished this. Too much other stuff to watch as well, for variety.
Still to see:
13 episodes of season 4 (long episodes!)
29 episodes of season 5

Years ago we selected cool episodes, just various we thought we would like. And now we try to see "the rest". That explains these weird numbers. ;)

EDIT:
Same goes for Alfred Hitchcock Presents & Alfred Hitchcock Hour. Especially the former might be a stronger series than the Twilight Zone. Twilight Zone has more heights (and better heights), but Presents is more consistent and rarely gets below the average strong level.
