In that case, I predict this year's winner is a re-working of the DotR cover where Eddie is dressed as Santa instead of the Grim Reaper, and the rabid horses are replaced with rabid reindeer.

Well, it's talented, sorta...but it's not really Christmas-y...and they misspelled Eddie. But it does sorta come close to the DotR cover...weird.
 
Marios card on the calender is not the winning card....I don't think anyone will know till the cards are sent out/recieved or until next Sunday. All the ones on the Calender are just the ones Rod liked from what I hear.

I'm expecting something really good to win it. Quite a few of those on the calendar are pretty rubbish!

another crappy winner! they corrected the spelling of Eddie's name on the official card though.
 
Although it's far from brilliant I don't think it's quite as bad as the last two winners. It's not really Christmas-related and I don't like the way Eddie is drawn, but it does show some skill from the painter's side.

Nowhere near as good as Tap's entries though.

Crappy? You're being very harsh here. I don't think it's that bad. I like it pretty much actually. Of course "Eddie" and "Ebeneezer" are spelt wrong, but hey, the guy is not from England, is he?
 
it's alot better than what I could ever come up with but it is vastly inferior to some of the runnerups. I hate that minimalistic approach to drawing (reminds me of Iced Earth's artworks), I much rather Tap's style.
