Book of Thel has been getting significant votes for a few rounds now.
I'm interested in hearing why.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it won this thing last time.

It jumps around in my rankings. At one time it was my #1 song, sometimes it is #3, just depends on my mood. At the moment is at the bottom half of my top 10. I can't speak for other people, but we do have quite a different group of voters this time. I also remember Tears of the Dragon barely making top ten. Which is good, it'd be boring if the results were the same every year.
 
I was gonna vote for my usual, but seeing as Jerusalem is getting so many votes, I've changed my mind.

Even though KDH is actually my #4 from this list.

Regarding Book of Thel, when I first heard TCW, it was actually the only song I really liked from the album. However, usually songs I like right away have a faster burn rate, so I'm just burned out on Thel. It's still a great tune, though, and I honestly wouldn't mind seeing it win.

Darkside of Aquarius is another song that I loved right away (even ranked it as my absolute favorite Bruce song) that burned on me, but I took a break from it, and now it's back to being my #2.
 
I know. I hate sacrificing KDH, too. That incredible instrumental, the drama throughout the entire song, that chorus that feels like a plane sweeping across the plains.

Thel has won both times over Darkside. I haven't voted for it yet (but I will be soon), it might be outside of my Bruce top 5, but I think it's Bruce's best song by quite a margin and nothing really comes close. The composition of the music, the lyrics, prodiuction and everything together just makes it a brilliant song in this regard.

Wrong, Tears was eliminated BEFORE the top 10 last time.

Also forgot to vote. The Tower, Kill Devil Hill
 
I actually think Bruce's "best" songs are NTSOTS, King in Crimson, and Darkside of Aquarius. I would put Jerusalem, but it gets points off for not having entirely original lyrics.

Kill Devil Hill is an awesome song but we're in the top 10 already. Every song is great. As long as we have Darkside, Omega, Chemical Wedding and The Tower as top 4, I don't really mind the way it all turns out. :p
