It was on the Anthology DVD. Bruce said that he was walking around Japan (I think) and he was just watching the people, and he saw that when the sun rolled up, the streets were bustling, but when the sun rolled down, the people vanished, and he talked about how fascinated he was with this parallel, and he elaborated some. I'll post the exact quote in a bit since I can't seem to find it on the web.

That whole interview of his was cool. His thought process is intriguing in general. Like when he said he wanted to name Tyranny Half-Life originally because, like an element's half-life, Bruce feels like he's always on the cusp of becoming something else.
