In the last few days I have listened to several albums from these guys. I can safely say that I am a fan. I tried and failed to get into them previously but an appreciation of Demons and Wizards led to to try again. Hansi is just super duper.

I can definitely imagine Blind Guardian covering this for a bonus track on one of the early albums.

Ok....
Everything up to and including A Twist In The Myth. They were not listened to in order and mostly I had them on in work and wasn't paying attention to song titles. Through this casual, one-time-each listening, I reckon Imaginations was my favourite.

Also, through their inexplicable covers I learned that the song is referring to a lady called Barbara Anne and not some 'bab-a-ram' kind of thing which I assumed to be jibberish or an Americanism which I did not understand

Good stuff. 'Imaginations From The Other Side' is a great album - one of their best along with 'Nightfall in Middle Earth'. Both will be in the GMAC at some point too.

Aye, Nightfall was good too. I think you recommended to to me a while ago and I got bored after a song or tow. But then I fell in love with Hansi so now I like it. Follow The Blind stands out too, although it was the last one I listened to.
