The Doctor Doctor cover is pushed by the Spotify algorithm, and it was added in 2022. Soon, the only other Blaze-era tracks with more streams will be The Clansman, Sign of the Cross, Futureal and Man on The Edge.

It is a pity that Blaze won't be playing any role at all on Maiden's anniversary tour apparently.
Or maybe on the next tour after “Run For Your Lives”? I think it would have been very fitting if Blaze had opened some shows (and of course good for his career).

I was just thinking, it would have even fit well with the “Silicon Messiah - 25th Anniversary" shows he's playing in 2025, and then the gig would move on to the 50th anniversary of Maiden.
But “The Raven Age” are back instead, how nice! :p
Do they have an anniversary too?

The nth birthday of Steve’s son? :P

Your guess is as good as mine.

I never wanted to listen Blazes Maidens. But my 7 year old kid played this song on YouTube 20 times a day, and I was like wtf is this masterpiece!!!? I'm so happy I have 2 more Maiden albums to listen. This is amazing!
Lots of other positive comments as well!

Youtube and Spotify alghorithms save the day for Blaze :ok:

I saw The Raven Age for the first time on Future Past and found them competent but uninteresting. Georgie boy certainly has charisma (though the singer seemed to think he was in Jedward, which was: worrying ...) A bunch of kids near to me were really into them though, so I guess I'm just not in their target audience. You can't like everything ...

I was pleasantly surprised by them and liked them well enough live, but they barely interacted with the crowd which is one of my biggest pet peeves. Sure, you can't get the crowd to sing your songs if they've never heard them, but you can get them to clap along. Do something.

Blaze was being interviewed on Planet Rock this morning. It was lovely when I turned on the engine and heard Ghost in the Machine being introduced. What a great riff. Apparently there will be a new coloured vinyl for the anniversary.

Also,
he said he will play the entire Silicon Messiah album on the upcoming tour.

I'm a huge fan and I think he's still awesome but I think he's lost a step vocally from his peak of around 2010. He's only human and ageing but he wasnt quite the powerhouse he was when I saw him in 2024. But he was still great.
Would those who saw him live recently say that he has recovered well from the heart attack and seems in good shape?
