Hmmmmmm, some acoustic shows? Maybe we'll finally hear some Maiden unplugged if they do Maiden songs at those shows.

Hitting up major city centres only pretty much. Aw well, I was hoping for something more extensive but he's not going to Canada at all.

Hope he will fill in a few more North American dates during some of the down time.

Only playing San Antonio in TX does not make any sense when there are 3 large population (Ausin 1 hour, Dallas 4 hours, Houston 3 1/2 hours by car) centers and some mid-sized towns nearby as well.  Same with playing Escondido (near San Diego) and not driving the 2 hours to go to LA/Orange County.  Very strange.

The November 10 date is in L.A. (Key Club in West Hollywood).  I'm debating whether to go, probably won't.

Not really...I bet these are the only clubs anywhere in those regions that'd take a gamble on him.

He's playing the same venue Paul Di'anno just played in NY. So he doesn't seem to be much of a draw here. Any idea of what he will be playing?

I must say, I'm glad I'm not going. I don't know most of the songs on that list and his albums are so hard to find there is no way I would know those songs well by concert time.

You know mate, some of the best concerts I've been to were ones in which I didn't know the band, or at least knew little of their back catalogue.

I like to know the band's music when I see them. I haven't been to as many concerts as you though, so I'll take your word for it.

I'll consider going to the San Antonio show, but the timing is not that great (already taking time off the following week over Thanksgiving).  Hopefully he will be able to add a few more dates.

I'd imagine that he would maybe slightly tailor his sets here in the US to include more Maiden songs.
