Man, that was a surprise! The winner was "Caught Somewhere in Time" in part 6. I never knew it was loved that much. (ATG or WY was my guess; even HCW would not surprise me so.)

OK...It's the Champion's turn now...The winner of the album vs. album competition (and arguably the most loved) "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son". Let's see if we will get another surprise here...

Already in round 2: Phantom of the Opera, Killers, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Revelations, Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Caught Somewhere in Time

I always thought CSiT was a little underrated and often overshadowed by Adrian's songs and Alexander the Great, glad to see that win.

This round's easy too as it's my all-time favourite Maiden song: The Evil That Men Do. It's probably not technically the "best" song on the album, but for what it means to me it's easily top. It's the song that made me start calling Maiden my favourite band (13 years ago now!) even though I only knew a handful of their songs, there was something about it that just made me realise these guys were something special.

Half of this album is 10/10 songs for me, including "Infinite Dreams", "Can I Play With Madness", "The Evil That Men Do", and "The Clairvoyant". But one of these edges out the others with its major/minor key shifts and its awesome chorus that does an unusual and brilliant downward modulation, propelling it into my top 3 Maiden songs of all time -- "The Clairvoyant".

My top 3 on this record : 1) Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son (a huge and massive song, which I love), 2) Infinite Dreams (very melodic and catchy song with great changes of parts), 3) The Clairvoyant (something more simple, but very pleasant to hear).

Apart from the happily demented Can I Play With Madness which has absolutely no place on this album whatsoever, I love all the remaining seven songs of the "Seventh Son", from Moonchild to Only The Good Die Young (cheers @Shmoolikipod).
So, not that easily this time, Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son it is.

There's got to be
Just more to it than this
Or tell me, why do we exist?
I'd like to think that when I die
I'd get a chance, another time
And to return and live again
Reincarnate, play the game
Again and again and again and again

It's very easy to pick the winner on Seventh Son. Infinite Dreams is head and shoulders above the rest.
I don't think any other song on this album would make it to my top 50 Maiden songs. Infinite Dreams is a strong contender for No1
