You can laugh but I think the Weekend Warrior chorus is brilliant & extremely catchy.
I discovered the live version from A Real Live One (my first Maiden cassette ) before the album version... and I find its rendition of the chorus better.Heaven Can Wait
(I kid, I kid.)
I think it is a good song overall, it's just that the way Bruce sings it does not fit, neither is the song right for an IM record possibly. You can laugh but I think the Weekend Warrior chorus is brilliant & extremely catchy.
It certainly leaves an impression that lasts. And lasts. And lasts.Maiden have a lot of insanely good choruses, but come on, it’s gotta be...
Don’t you think I’m a savior?
Don’t you think I could save you?
Don’t you think I could save your life?
For me, it's Steve.Only one of Bruce's songs there, but in general I think he writes the best choruses in Maiden. And possibly second in metal.
Tobias SammetFor me, it's Steve.
Listen, Batman... the city needs you!No More Lies
I know it's a cover, but Maiden's version of The Juanita has a great chorus as well, don't you think? I could save youMy favorite choruses:
The Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
The Book of Souls
The Powerslave
Indeed! The Juanita is not only a fantastic song, but she’s also not That Girl!I know it's a cover, but Maiden's version of The Juanita has a great chorus as well, don't you think? I could save you
