Best fucking beer's from Belgium - Budweiser is shit!

Re: Budweiser is shit!

I'll give him that, the Belgians do make good beer. :D

Some good footage, despite the shakiness. This was the one you was at I take it?

No I wasn't here (I was at Fields of Rock, Netherlands) but I agree with Bruce, still! :)

I've only been searching on youtube for some nice footage of the last couple of gigs. Hope it's OK with such a disturbing topic title. ;)

The Wrathchild vid is predominately just an earful of Janick. I liked it though. :D

No, I didn't mean you took the footage, but you attended the Graspop gig. :)

Just edited my previous post, sorry! ;)
The Evil That Men Do is also only Janick on guitars. Quite interesting to hear it this way for a change. :)

Hell, I'm an alcoholic (actually a recovered alcoholic, haven't had a drink in years) ... but back in my drinking days, even *I* wouldn't drink Budweiser. Yecch.

Paulaner (sp?) from Germany is the best! Budweiser sucks, the only beer on the planet known to give me hangovers, guaranteed.

Paulaner is halfway decent. But since it's from southern Germany, it's worthless. :P

Given the fact that St. Pauli is in northern Germany, everything that comes from it is good.

My favourite beer actually is from St. Pauli:

(the top line on the label says: "Brewed with love in the heart of St. Pauli)

The only bad thing about it is that you can't get it outside of Hamburg.

Hangover's are a product of dehydration, not a specific drink, alcoholic drinks dehydrate, period. The best way to avoid hangovers is to drink water.

I've had St. Pauli's Girl, I mean I've TRIED St. Pauli's girl.. hmm that's no better, I've had A BOTTLE, there we go hehe, of St. Pauli Girl and to be honest... no that great, good, not great.

Can't say I have ever seen that in America but now that I know what it looks like, I'll keep an eye open for it. I love German beer, north, south, it don't matter. That's how civil wars start.  ;)

Right, all very true. I can't explain it because it defies biochemical laws but I'll be damned if I am not hung over the next day from Budweiser and never from any other beer.

I think that the Europeans do indeed make the best beers, but one from the sub-continent is well worth a drink. :D

Couldn't agree more.  I went to Munich with my father a few years ago (long ago he was stationed at Schwäbish Gmünd and visits the area regularly) and I asked a number of folks I met to name their favorite German beer.  Paulaner was the near-unanimous choice.  And, lest Perun accuse me of using a biased sample from (worthless?) southern Germany, I was sitting at a table with a bunch of guys from the German navy who were from all over the Country.  And, I recall another couple from Berlin saying they liked Paulaner the best, too.  Of course, I didn't make it up to Hamburg, so couldn't try Astra -- but I don't recall anyone mentioning that, either.

Smirnoff is pretty good, but Mike's Hard Lemonade is sub-par and "ok" at best. Reminds me of Zima lol

Smirnoff is good in a jacuzzi with or without a hot girl next to you.  For some reason though, the drink tastes much like soapy bubbles inside of a jacuzzi.  :D
