Ides/Wrathchild
Not my favourite pair of tunes on the list but when it comes to an 'Opening Salvo' its hard to beat, Ides is dramatic and works perfectly ad an intro for creating some buzz and excitement.

Aces/2 Mins is a close second.

Imfinite Dreams is probably my favourite song on the list but for me, it and Moonchild dont provide the same kind of one/two hit as the others I mentioned. Similar can be said of Eagles/Revelations. They are, however, part of the best 6 song run in Maiden recorded history.

(CSIT and WY sounds excellent on paper but the first one is defintely too long for what it has to offer;
BQOBD/FHTE would make the top 5... if the A Real Live One versions were eligible;
shouldn't TIOM/Wrathchild be extended to MITRM on the model of the opening of The Final Frontier?)
 
I’m gonna say CSIT.. that riff and after those awesome solos by Murray/Smith, then straight into the classic Wasted Years riff shortly after. Heaven to my ears.

This one's really hard to pick... I don't know... Something along the first two tracks of the following album:

Piece Of Mind, Powerslave, Somewhere In Time, Seventh Son, The X Factor
 
For me it is The Wicker Man/Ghost Of The Navigator. RIR concert really helped for this - this concert has a very special place in my heart.

but Aces High/2 Minutes To Midnight always will be the classic opening salvo.
