Beckett member dies

E-Pop-Hack.jpgI thought I would come briefly back on board to let any interested folk know that Kenny Mountain (writer of Rainbows Gold and member of Beckett and the Whole/Entire Population of Hackney) died today 17/10/2012 after a sudden bout of pneumonia. Apart from being friends with the Irons he was the principle member of Beckett who were an early influence on the fledgling Maiden. Kenny and I played together in bands from 1970 thru 1974; remained soul-mates and will continue to do so. Any messages to his family can be sent to me: keithfisher@blueyonder.co.uk
 
My condolences. I realize the impact he had on Maiden. May his own work live on properly and carry his spirit.
