Banner or picture in signature

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place but how do I attach a Banner or picture in my signature?

-In the top left region of the board, there's a link to "My Controls"
-Click that, and it should bring you to your User Control Panel.
-When you get to that page, look on the left side for a tab that's called "Edit Signature"
-Acquire the URL to a picture (I.E. [a href=\'http://www.website.com/images/whatever.jpg)\' target=\'_blank\']http://www.website.com/images/whatever.jpg)[/a]
and have that put into the field provided.
-When you enter the URL into the box, you have to add

#91;img]URL[/img]

to the url.
-When you finish all of the above, the entered text should look like:

#91;img]http://www.website.com/images/whatever.jpg[/img]

-To complete this, and add the signature, push OK, and you're done.
