Anyone Seen Back In The Village Performed Live?

This page also mentions "Invaders" as having been played on that tour. The page itself (ranging from 1979 to 1999 only) is interesting for people who are not "specialists" (yet ;)) though it might be incomplete on very few occasions (e.g "Murders in the Rue Morgue" was played on VXI Tour in France at least - Nancy, April 4th 1998)

The setlist for that 1992 Auckland show on Setlist FM doesn't have "Invaders" on it. In the absence of any actual evidence that the song was played at that show, I have to assume that it wasn't, and therefore, has never been played live.

That page is very out of date, and I'm pretty sure the information originally came from the Iron Maiden Commentary anyway.
Still, having become a Maiden fan before the days of the Internet, I would have enjoyed being able to have it at hand when I discovered the band and had many questions about the setlists.
A little updating and you've got a nice "post-it" thread.:)

Does anyone know which recording Maiden used for the intro (Ides of March) on the earlier tours? It was definitely a 'recording' (after the 1979 tours) and not played live, but I have never come across any reference to this. It was way before the recording sessions for the Killers album. I have bootleg cds (such as the whole show version of the Live at the Rainbow video in London) where the intro tape seems to be used (different sound to the rest of the gig). Did Maiden record a version of Ides of March just to use as the intros prior to Killers?
