Any chance they'll return to US in 2011 for the actual album tour?

Or was this pre-album tour all we're doomed to get?

I don't think it'd be fair if that was the case, and I would have much rather wanted to have seen them in 2011 for the actual album tour...

Who thinks they may come back here? If anything, at least to the "main" cities of the coasts and midwest?

I have looked up their tour statistics for the past, and sadly it looks like they only hit up North America once, and one time only =(

I expect the same as the last 2 albums. Maiden will play NY, LA, Chicago, maybe a few others. Not a major US tour. They'll focus on the rest of the world.

Ya, Maiden is LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG overdue for a full, 40 city USA tour. I just don't get it. They're all excited about how well they're doing over here, yet they limit their tours.

I am fully expecting a super sized world tour, including many U.S dates.  I am hopeful to take in at least three shows here on the West coast of the 'states' next year.  It is a given that New York, Chicago, L.A will get shows. You can bank on several shows in the north east, Boston, Detroit, etc.  We will get New Mex. Dallas, Houston, Phoenix etc. as well. This little tour is waaaay too insignificant for the band and their new album.  Don't worry guys.  Many shows to come!!!

This pretour is just killing the time until the new album and tour. I'm sure they'll tour everywhere in 2011 (and maybe 2012).

2012 ? I don't think because in 2012 if they'll do a tour,they'll do another kind of tour...

No way they ever do a 40 city US tour, that's just not going to happen.  Their last "BIG" US tour was for Brave New World.  They simply don't have or need to play that many shows over here.

I could see them coming back next summer and playing most of the same places they did this summer, but not more shows.  If anything, there will be fewer shows but I hope not.

And I'm sure even more folks will bitch about the set list haha.

This. Sad, but true. I'm getting to the point if I only see them on the "All NPFTD All The Time" tour. I just want to see them.

I think I'm one of the few who would really dig such a show.  No Prayer was my first and is therefore a special album even though I see its faults.

No Prayer is awesome.  On the same note, I wish I had a good live bootleg, or official video for at least 1 of very album tour.  I'd love to heard a good No Prayer show.

Also, there are some pro-shot bits and pieces like Sheffield City Hall and some major European festival i can't recall right now. + the Holy Smokers secret gig. However they all feature three/four songs at most, and only song from NPFTD on those bootlegs is Public Enema Number One.

I'm just saying the tour might run over into 2012. Some bands tour for two full years supporting one album.

I hope so, I was very sad but unreasonably angry when they didn't come to the Boston area. However, they're not obligated to tour every city and it was hard for me to stomach that but I accepted it. I really hope they come to Boston the next time around because I'm looking forward to the new album and hearing those songs live. The only album that I never heard any songs live at a concert I attended is now The Final Frontier and I really want to hear it live. Most of the songs played live on the current tour are songs that I have heard live and I still wanted to see the current tour for nostalgia (its nostalgia for me because the Brave New World Tour was my very first Maiden show, I heard Wildest Dreams and The Wickerman and Brave New World live again during the Give Me Ed Till I'm Dead Tour, and I hear the entire A Matter of Live and Death album live when I saw them in Boston in 2006)  but I had prior obligations in the first place. I heard many of my favorite classic songs live and many of my favorite newer Maiden songs live plus a couple of Blaze-era songs at the first two Maiden shows I attended so I'm hoping to hear as many new songs live as possible and even then I still can't get enough Maiden because they're just so phenomenal!!

There's a pro audio show of every tour with Bruce except Edhuntour.
