An Outrage.

According to several reliable newswebsites and spoken by the MPA themselves they are now filing a law suit against Lyrics and Tabs websites, wanting those websites to be Permanently deleted.

Some news resources:

What the Music industry and MPA wants, is to put all who has made a lyric/tab website in jail. (plus, to pay a big fine = a way to make money?)

The meaning of it is, that if you hear a song, and you want to sing it, you wont be able to find it on lyrics pages, thanks to the MPA and music industry, considering they want to forbid that websites. They say it is illegal, but isn't it so, that only if you try to make money, say, "Pay 10$ and get all your favorite lyrics!" is illegal?

This will be a big problem for learning guitarists, like me. Thanks to guitar tabs, i've learned several new ways to play, inspiring me to become a better musician, so the question is; How am i supposed to become a moneymaking musician if i can't get influences? The only thing the MPA are doing, is to make it worse for themselves.

I think it's an ofcourse that all musicians aswell as non-musicians should unite in this case, the MPA, government, and Music industries ways to exploit the internet is a catastrophy.
Now room for discussion in this topic.

Please forgive some inglis misshpelinghs.

Interestingly, this is one of only two sentences with immediately noticable misspellings [!--emo&;)--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/wink.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'wink.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Quite honestly, I doubt the MPA would get very far with this. Not only will it draw the hatred of music fans on them, but also that of musicians. And it's too easy to get around this anyway. Have one misspelling, addition or omission per song lyric, and they can't do anything.

Jeez, those greedy cash whores don't know when to stop. It's supposed to be about the music right? They should make it easier for people to get lyrics and tabs, not harder.
