An album with demos, rejected material, etc.

@JeffMetal, IMHO that "insane" instrumental song became part of ATG. Because in same interview Bruce mentions song about "Greek warrior", also saying that all songs are in 5 minute domain.

Don't remember that part of the interview. Thanx for the reminder.

Bruce Dickinson wrote a bunch of songs for SIT but none of them made it on. When the album was in its infancy there he had 1 track on the album. So there are obviously demos of songs by Bruce from that album floating around. Most of them are acoustic ballad type songs.
Run Silent Run Deep is one of them.

If "Run Silent Run Deep" was one of them, maybe the other songs Bruce had for SIT were released later on?

They would've said so. I've always thought Tears of the Dragon was one. But there has been no confirmation.

That would surprise me.
Tears seems to be so obviously inspired by leaving Maiden.

huh. I guess you're right about that. Maybe the main melody was written while in Maiden though.

There are a few bands I'd really like to see release multiple collections of unreleased material in the future.  Iron Maiden and Metallica are two of those bands!

I would love to see them release a boxset! A set that would have all the albums, demos, rejected material and unreleased songs! It would be great if they included all their dvd's! I hope they do that in the future!

Either a huge box set or multiple individual releases.  I could care less about including the studio albums in a potential box set, most fans already have them anyway.  I'm interested in the unreleased and rare forgotten stuff, such as unreleased songs, rejected material, demos, b-sides, song ideas, half-finished songs, etc.

Would bands be able to officially (in a physical format) release song ideas and riff tapes and song ideas?
