Am I the only one who finds...

Rime is my 2nd all time favourite Maiden song. When I saw this song live I had goosebumps. But for you to say that the middle is repetitive with a couple of notes over & over and you like 2112 and in 2112 when Geddy Lee(or the main character)finds the guitar is goes on for about 2 1/2 min of repetitive notes. Both songs are great songs. Both send me on journey's. Rime of the ancient mariner send me on a better journey.
 
Rime is a bit overrated, it's probably somewhere in the back of my top 10. The best parts are some great guitar riffs here and there and that harmony after the solos (which is one of my faves from Maiden, it just fits the progress of the song and brings shivers down my spine). I feel that the silent middle-part is saved by what follows. On the whole, I find some other songs superior to Rime but it's definitely a nice and different thing to listen to once in a while.
