I'm not sure what to think of it yet. It reminds me a bit of Myles' stuff with Slash, but Tremonti's guitar work is better.

I love it upon the first listen. It's a great hard rock song, but something about it reminds me of Queensryche in their heyday.

I wouldn't count on the length of the songs only to judge that. But yeah, four songs around six minutes sounds good to me.
The band themselves said the album is a mix of ABIII and Fortress.

Haven't heard it yet (at work), so I have no idea if the man can sing, but this Alter Bridge cover is a nice gesture from artistic gymnast Bart Deurloo (who will take part in the Olympic Games).
