It looks like Megadeths cover has failed this time, the Hammerfall one wasn´t built to last and AC/DC had a powercut.

The top of the ladder is very interesting though!

Always liked the 9 cover but it’s no Don’t Break the Oath (hope that’s here somewhere). Master of Puppets is far and away the best of the round. Call it overrated if you like but it deserves its iconic status. It’s definitely the best Metallica album cover IMO.

No votes for Built To Last so far... wild! I love the two colors chosen, the cover is ancient, with a warrior, tower, something mystical and it looks epic. Pure metal fantasy. Probably one of my favorite covers.
Mental Reservations is captivating (being mystical) and that's its greatest strength. It could be better ofc. The System Has Failed continues their tradition of ideas with a strong impression. Master Of Puppets cover is probably iconic, but their covers are not for me.

Andreas Marschall is a great artist and yet he only has 3 covers in this cup. (Blind Guardian, Hammerfall and Scanner) edit: not sure if he made the Axel Rudi Pell one too?
I almost nominated The Jester Race because of its great use of colours. His skies are incredible.

I prefer the cover of the first Hammerfall album. (also by Andreas Marschall)

Colourwise it would´ve fit perfectly in this ladder.
