Abigail is a classic and should go further although Andreas Marschall´s piece of art is fantastic too...and there’s a tiny bit of own nomination bias too.

The second match is somehow religious inspired but each one of the covers are at the other end of the spectrum.
Not an easy choice either...

In the Deth battle it's quite easy for me: Rust In Peace all the way!

And the last match is a no brainer! Leviathan is another contender for the total win of the whole tournament.

It was Fate my friend. Also Nightwish was drawn to face each other. On the other hand: there were more bands with more than one cover in the Finals: Judas Priest, Meat Loaf, Metallica and Opeth.
 
Oh how I love the Cup!
Ancient Dreams and Rust In Peace are doing well as Survivors from Round 2. Let's see if they can make it to the 8h Finals...

Actually both are a part of the same work. 'Voyage of Life' by Thomas Cole is divided into four different paintings: Childhood, Youth, Manhood and Old Age. The cover of 'Nightfall' has the painting from Old Age and 'Ancient Dreams' has that of Youth.

Interesting and really cool ideas for paintings (covers) with stories. All are impactful. It's difficult to say which is the best or that Ancient Dreams is better than Nightfall. I like it more. They didn't use the other 2.

Maiden's TWOTW should have had such a piece for the promo campaign, it would have been epic and perfect!

Ok apparently the new poll´s gone after the 2 threads were merged together.
It´s maybe pointless to make another one where everybody will have to vote all over again?
As far as I remember 7 people voted and Abigail, Ancient Dreams, Rust In Peace and Leviathan were ahead of their opponents.
Suggestion to wrap this one up?
