A Dance of Death DVD

I am excited of a new DVD but, I would rather see a new GMETID or something.

The Bruce DVD sounds really cool IMO!

If you don't like a new DVD, so don't buy it....

I think it's great for people who hadn't the chance to see a DoD show...
Also IndianaJones has a good opinion..(BTW I just finished watching IndianaJones part 2 [!--emo&;)--]/wink.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'wink.gif\' /][!--endemo--] someminutes ago.. )

The best solution of our "problem", if you want to call it that way, would be, to release an ultimate Maidenhistory Tour DVD collectors box including a DVD from every tour....

Would be 'kin expensive, but ... well... I'll give a shit about the price.. [!--emo&;)--]/wink.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'wink.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

what do you think?
sounds good to me Maiden Austria, i'd like to see them do something like the first ten years box, with a dvd for each tour! all available individually, with a token inside, all needed to be collected in order to send away for the box to hold them all in!

I think....we'll be seeing a live DVD/album from every tour Iron Maiden has done so far. For those of you who were here before the DoD tour debuted, we did a lot of guessing as to what would be on the tour. And we were pretty much wrong. A lot of songs we expected didn't come up. There were a lot of songs no one expected, and I think it's because the band...is attempting to catalogue its old stuff, it's Blaze stuff, it's discarded Paul stuff, with the new line up, before they retire.

I'm dreaming of that box set....

Maybe all DVD's can be arranged into a box and the backside matched together to a picture. Maybe a live photo from the band, taken at the Ruskin Arms or something like that....
Hasn't to be limited to just a few copies.... (makes it cheaper)

There exists an "Star Trek" box which looks like an space-transporter... [!--emo&B)--]/cool.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'cool.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

I´m really keen about this idea, i enjoyed a lot this tour and actually i was gonna buy a bootleg dvd when i read this notice, I don´t mind being fed with dvds as long as they´re good enough. It wouldn´t impress me if in a few years´ time they released some of the recorded but unreleased gigs they have

I remember reading on the official site once that many of the GMETID shows were filmed, and that their intention was to include some songs from that tour on a DoD-tour DVD.

I'd also like to see some of the songs from Ed Hunter tour, like "Phantom" or "Powerslave" with the 3-guitar lineup. I don't know if such footage exists, but one can hope! Personally I think it's not. We had Rock in Rio only two years ago, and another live DVD can wait at least until the next tour. To me it seems pretty silly to release live DVD's more often than albums.
Shadow believe that's because you haven't seen their show. This DVD will be ten times better than Rock in Rio. [!--emo&:D--]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

i don't think so.and i think EMI must make a dvd with the show in sao paulo.if you don't know,on january 17,iron maiden did a concert at sao paulo, and then, the funniest thing i've ever seen happened, bruce criticiezed metallica, and the crowd started to shout "ei metallica vai toma no cu" or in english "hey metallica fuck you!" hahahahahaha it was very funny

I think every fan would like to have the DVD from the gig he/she has seen...

[!--QuoteBegin--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE[/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--QuoteEBegin--]Wouldn't you want a DVD of the Beast On The Road tour 'cause you were there then?
NO no no.... of course I would be interested in obtaining the older concerts as well as the new ones. You can't say that you wouldn't buy this one just because you attended. Now you would be able to buy and watch and say "Hell yeah, I remember that." Additionally, I would like to see what the hype was all about (besides the fact that it was Maiden). So if you don't want to buy just because you were there, then don't buy it. All I can say is whatever comes out, I WILL add to my collection. I can't wait for the Live After Death.....

Peace.

No, there isn't a need for a Dance Of Death live DVD.

We've got enough live documents;

Live After Death (awesome live album, a complete tour de force)
A Real Live One (Useless)
A Real Dead One (Useless)
Live At Donnington 1993 (Useless)
Rock In Rio (Fantastic, a better atmosphere than Live After Death, but I prefer Live After Death...)
Rock In Rio DVD (An amazing live show with stunning visuals that deserved to be put on DVD)
Eddie's Archive (The live stuff on here is mostly great)

I mean, who do Maiden think they are? RUSH or something?

i love the idea of having another live dvd [!--emo&--]/headbang.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'headbang.gif\' /][!--endemo--] bring it on!!

I think they poduce what they want to produce - if it's another DVD or album or whatever...
All we can do / have to do is - to buy it/refuse to buy

Nobody is being pushed to spend money for anything....

If there is a DVD for Dance of death, I don't think i would be able to buy it if it comes out [!--emo&:(--]/sad.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'sad.gif\' /][!--endemo--] Stupid country!!! So you have to deal on the web - or arrange something overseas with another Maidenfan....

I don't know about a DVD from every tour.. I think that if they had recorded their performance from Somewhere on tour with full production, they'd have released it by now in some form ( CD or video) but they havn't. There must be a lots of stuff that they now regret about not recording, 'coz it may never have that much intensity anymore. So, whatever little is left coming our way, will always be warmly welcomed by us all.
