5th July '14 Knebworth!

What an incredible day...I still really can't believe I was there...

I've just remembered something that pissed me off during Maiden, a lad in front constantly turning around to take a 'selfie'. He must have done it about 15 times during the show. I wanted to smash his phone to pieces.

But yeah, the dogfight was really good fun to watch!

Most likely at a Britney Spears concert just after Apple invented the reverse camera iPhone.... I say concert lightly because she lip synchs.... :)
I could see it running rampant at a festival. I saw Eric Clapton in New Orleans at Jazz Fest this year and a guy kept doing it to me over and over. I was so aggravated, I finally asked him to audition for the band if he wants to be onstage so bad! :) Also, if they need to prove to someone that they were there, hold on to your ticket stub!

There's just some people worthy of sending home with an iPhone imprint on their forehead! :edmetal:
 
I saw a fantastic (non-metal) band, Neutral Milk Hotel, a few months ago. No phones or cameras allowed. When the singer saw a phone raised up, he gently nodded at the photographer and shook his head. The crowd, gently, made sure no-one else took photos. Easy to do in a crowd of 1,000, not sure about 50,000+!
 

Highlights that were shown on Sky Arts! Includes the dog fight, Aces High and The Trooper. I'm a bit dissapointed with it to be honest, there's not enough footage of the Saturday, I would've like to have seen pro-shot footage of Ghost's show, or Alestorm's or even Chas and Dave's (what cretin decided to leave them out)!

Although I did spot the top of my head during The Trooper, next to the guy in costume, waving the flag! :)

Haha, I was wondering when the video would turn up on here - I actually uploaded this :) These highlights are actually split into 3 parts, part 1 was shown on Friday night, Part 2 last night & Part 3 is being aired tonight I believe. Please note before anyone jumps on the bandwagon that I am only sharing this on YouTube for those like me who haven't got Sky, and it's not monetized either so I'm not making any form of profit on it. I hope it doesn't get deleted due to copyright but if it does then so be it!

Ah brilliant, thanks for uploading it man, I too haven't got Sky! So you're a star!

Good to know that there's more than just that one show, it did feel a bit bare! Are you going to upload the other parts?
