50th Anniversary Documentary Announcement

No sarcasm. Being a bit conservative means changes occur a bit slow with me. And yes, I know it's going on for a while yet already, all this streaming thing. I heard quite a lot about it. Never got into it really tho. Maybe I should learn a bit more about it all, I think the DVD itself thing is getting more and more unpopular. However, it really stresses me. Not too long ago the departure of the VHS video tape... Then the departure of the DVD. And I guess as soon as I worked myself into Netflix and stuff, then the departure of Netflix will happen.
Also I'm lacking a bit in time and motivation getting into all these new technologies, but I realize I should.
Well, since you have a PC and can use Internet you'll have no problem setting up a Netflix, or any other streaming account if you so wished.

But I also hope that there will be a physical release of this film just to satisfy the collector in me.

Didn't Netflix use to send DVDs to your home before streaming became a thing? Kinda wild how quickly things are changing in the last couple of decades.
They only stopped sending out DVDs in 2023. Believe it or not there are still boutique services that post discs for rental.

That’s true. I bet the conversation confirmed that Back in the Village was played though, as we have discussed in this forum previously.
I bet the opposite since Luisma seemed to have a vested interest in his book remaining accurate rather than contradictory information coming out based on that discussion. A satisfying answer for him might not be the same for the rest of the fans.

I guess I’ll just have to wait to buy the book to find out.

Mosh: Hey Steve!
Arry: Hi there!
Mosh: I´m Mosh.
Arry: Mosh who?
Mosh: Mosh from the Maidenfans forum.
Arry: The official one?
Mosh: The unofficial one actually but nevermind.
Arry: Good album!
Mosh: What?
Arry: Nevermind.
Mosh: No I want you to tell what album´s good.
Arry: Nevermind by Nirvana, remember?
Mosh: Tomorrow!
Arry: Or today if you don´t mind?
Mosh: It was a joke. I meant the song.
Arry: From Nevermind?
Mosh: No from your debut.
Arry: British Lion?
Mosh: No, the other one.
Arry: Oh that one. Yeah. Remember Tomorrow. We´re going to play it on the next tour.
Mosh: No way! That's awesome! By the way, Steve?
Arry: Yes?
Mosh: Are you going to play Back In The Village too?
Arry: What village?
Mosh: The one from Powerslave!
Arry: Probably not but we´re planning to play Rime again.
Mosh: We all know the moral of that story!
Arry: Nevermind!

Thats no good to anyone but you
As it has been pointed out in this chat. I made the effort of getting in touch with the director of the documentary, send him the questions I wanted, waited for the answers, did my research and yes, it was for my own interest and to be shared with the readers of my book, which btw it was published months ago...

In any case, if the band wishes the information to be revealed, it will appear in the documentary because, as I said, all the shows behind the Iron Curtain where filmed and recorded in audio.

No problem Christopher. I stopped promoting my book here because some people thought I was pushing it too much. What I can't get is that I am fan as everyone here, one that has bought literally thousands of magazines from all over the world trying to find something different, exciting or new and one I just got tired about it, I went and try to find the information myself... Is been a hell of a ride I tell you, talking with a lot of people, including some which have been forgotten by the Maiden camp (Ken Fuerman is not one of them) and that have great stories to tell... So yes, I do hold some stories for my book because it helps pays for expenses but I also do it to offer fans something different, give value to their money, and if I can, bring joy to our lives...

One a last note, there are things I cannot comment because as everyone in the documentary, I have signed a NDA... But what I can say is that it's been one hell of a work putting this documentary together and I definitely believe is going to be something really good... Maybe not what we all wished it was, but is gonna be different and good
