Football is one of the few sports I'll support the USA in because they're not a traditional powerhouse. The sports that American teams are best at tend to only be played in the US.

Algeria did play well, but Korea only have themselves to blame, as had they replicated their 2nd half performance in the 1st half, the result could have been in their favour. Another great game though.

It wasn't supposed to be one of the best matches of the tournament, but it was. Hopefully the Algerians get at least a draw against Putin's boys.
I enjoyed that game thoroughly. Only goes to show that hard football played by teams less skilled is sometimes the most entertaining.

Two very surprising games so far. I (as most people) expected Belgium-Russia to be very exciting and it was boring to death and I (as most people) expected South Korea-Algeria to be boring and it was a fantastic game. 4th best game of the tournament so far. (ESP-NED, SUI-FRA, GER-GHA)

The USA thought it was over. What a game. Oh my goodness. The USA tied one of the best countries in the world, today.
Ronaldo was out of it completely. If it was a Real Madrid match, he wouldn't even make the bench.

He played through a serious injury. He did create that last goal with a great cross as well.
Hopefully Germany heavily beats USA and Ghana beats Portugal to advance. I wouldn't be too mad about USA advancing, either. Just no Portugal.
