I hate Suarez. He is a racist, he is violent, and he cheats. What makes this incredibly worse is that he is just GREAT. He doesn't need to be those other things.

Some of the gratest players in the history of football have some pretty bad traits with them. Maradona, for example, made one of his most famous goals by cheating - and he was banned from a tournament for cocaine abuse. Pele is just a right asshat.

And one of my favourite players, Eric Cantona, was outright insane for much of his career ...

EDIT: No - MAradona's ban from the '94 World Cup was for ephedrine, not cocaine, and he played the first two games.
