2011 We're Stars?

Where Eagles Dare

Keep Your Distance! Walk Away!
Hi guys, been a bit, school started and I never finished my top 25 (partially about school and partially because my taste seem to change every week and I feel myself questioning my decisions.)

Any way I've been watching the Hear n' Aid We're Stars and I would defiantly love to see a 2011 version (and yes I saw the amateur one and guys right idea but didn't come out so well.) But there is one major problem no DIO. And to me the greatest metal singer of all time how do you even find some one to fill his slot, I refuse to say replace. Then I thought about it, Bruce actually fits the part. Not so much that he's my favorite singer (I know I said Dio was the best but Bruce is my favorite) either way I feel like Bruce could sing Dio's part well and especially after all the Blood Brother speeches I think it would work well. Just with shorter hair! lol

Interesting idea. It would be a great tribute to Dio and there's at least as much shit in the world as back then.

I'd love to see this done as a tribute to Ronnie.
Never seen any talk on here about the original.
For what it was I quit enjoyed it. Great to hear all those voices and guitarists trading off.
And my man Buck blowing away the younger guys with his solo. :D

I would love to see this .. only problem is that of all the great 80's bands that I would like to see, except for Maiden, have disappeared and those t hat are still doing it....have lost it.

Unfortunately I don't belive there are enough newer bands that would do it justice.

Maiden
Queensryche
Gamma Ray
Blind Gaurdian
Rush
Fates Warning (are they still around)

These would be the only ones I can think of that would do tht tune justice....

I think if it WERE done it would unfortuantely be mostly Death metal barking which would be a shame
(PS...Obviuosly I'm not familiar with newer metal)
