Is this a Maiden first for Turkey? Not sure...

Iron Maiden to headline Sonisphere Turkey - Sunday 19 June 2011

Iron Maiden are confirmed to headline Sonisphere Turkey 2011. The Festival will be held at Kucukciftlik Park, Istanbul on Sunday 19 June. Other bands confirmed are Slipknot, Alice Cooper, In Flames and Mastodon.

All Maiden shows for 2011 have now been announced.
 
Bummer (not the Turkey show), but I kept holding out hope a few more US dates would be announced.
 
I can only try and answer that for Israel - back in 1995, things seemed like there would finally be peace in the Middle East. That's why they thought they could find new markets there. Unfortunately, things took a different course.
 
i dont know if this has been posted but its not the final dates or at least from what i make off it. iron maiden are doing the orange rockcorps thing or at least so orange say which is a UK gig where you do 4 hours of service and you get a free ticket to the orange rockcorps gig. snoop dog and pendulum headlined last year. heres my source http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=iron+m ... hAfElf38BA it states iron maiden to play as well as journey thats all the information i know off but i emailed them and they said it will be announced soon
