1981 tour dates in Germany - who was there and can confirm them?

I am interested in ((helping with) building) a complete overview of found errors.

To focus on (suspected) errors is much more efficient than mistrusting every date and ask if someone can confirm something.

I honestly have no idea what you are referring to in relation to what I said. Do we have different browsers, or access?

I see that all these dates feature cities.

Wed 12 Puerto Rico, USA San Juan Coliseo

Puerto Rico is not a city. The gig took place in San Juan. Yes, that is in the name of the venue, but it should also be mentioned earlier. And according to Demonic's post the name of the venue is wrong too, I don't know about this myself.

Fri 14 New Jersey, USA Izod Arena

New Jersey is not a city. The gig took place in the city of East Rutherford.

Sun 16 Ontario, CANADA Air Canada Centre

Ontario is not a city. The gig took place in Toronto.

Ah! I thought Demonic, in his post, copied info from the official site and said that this info was wrong (missing towns) (it could have been interpreted like that, and I did). Should have looked better at the site. I was too busy with what he (and I!) said earlier on.

So we have 3 occasions (at least).

Still, the dates are listed.

I
have especially been focusing on:
It is simply a fact that the band's website lists a lot of shows that were definitely cancelled or took place on another day.

Ah! I thought Demonic copied that info from the official site and said that this info was wrong (it could be interpreted like that).

Yeah, that's why I said this. :P

As for the cancelled dates, here's a sample from the Brave New World tour: The dates after Janick's injury in Mannheim that were cancelled are listed, as are the cancelled dates in Kiev, Mija, Anchorage, Edmonton and Calgary and the first Buenos Aires date.

Some other cases well-known to me (X Factour, VXI and DoD Tours) seem to have the cancelled dates omitted, though. Hence, you have to check with every tour whether cancelled dates are included or not. No, it's not dramatic, but it's just not a 100 per cent reliable source.

I was at this gig. It is legit. In fact, Rime of the Ancient Mariner from Flight 666 was recorded there.
East Rutrherford, New Jersey, USA
Izod Center (it used to be called Continental Airlines Arena and before that it was Brendan Byrne Arena)
It is slightly possible that this arena could have been called "New York" as well, since it is about 6 miles from New York City.

Further proof, if it was needed (which it is not) that the official site is not accurate, on the official site the gig in Belfast 30/01/96 is omitted. It was not rescheduled/cancelled, just a regular, pre planned dose of Maiden. I was there so I know it happened. It is featured on the master list linked above.
