1975-2005 30th Anniversary Tour?

does anyone know whether or not there will be a thirtieth anniversary tour in 2005, or will we have to wait untill 2010?

Well, Shadow, your're right... it is under latest rumor, but it isn't even a rumor since it doesn't announce anything at all.

Yeah just to confirm in case the forums are unclear, asking about rumours should be done in Maiden Chat, starting or announcing rumours go in the rumours forum. I'm not sure, they have just toured for about 10 months so they might be taking a little break
 
Harry said in an interview that they would be touring in the summer of '05
 
Theyve probably finished touring for the rest of the year now. Expecting a Bruce tour and album this year and a new Maiden album in 2005 my guess would be summer
 
A new album for 05? That would be wonderful!
I see it really difficult. Dont know if they have enough energy to tour for the DoD and to write songs for a new album....
 
They've got 2004 to write. I expect the album to be released in early summer 2005 and then a festival tour in the summer.
 
I don't think they'd call it a 30th Anniversary Tour though. Maiden has never been eager to focus on nostalgia and the past. Sure they always play some old songs, but they've always focused on new material in their live shows if they have a new album to support.

I seriously doubt Bruce will make a proper tour for his solo album. He has to fly planes (it's his other job) and stops doing it when Maiden is touring. He is recording his solo album right now in LA with Roy Z and will get back to flying in March. Good ol' Bruce gets around a bit, doesn't he? I mean, he flies planes, he's a champion fencer, and he's got a Degree in history! Woah..

True. Could be a few festival dates like he did for the Best of Bruce CD

If he tours at all I believe it will be just festivals.
 
Once again they have Missed Australia comon boys tour down under

if anyone has news if they are touring Australia let me know please and no false hopes please

yeah it'd be great to be in a plane flown by bruce! I can imagine what the passangers would be like! OH NO! A ROCK STAR FLYING THE PLANE! WE'RE GONA DIE!!!!!
It'd be great just to hear him over the tannoy! I'd blatantly have to shrink and as sum1 if i can meet the captain! Im 7 really!!!!!!!!
 
1)it would be good if they toured with an 'unplayed' setlist with Alexander,Montsegur and Mother Russia
2)They released a remake of Killers and Iron Maiden with Dickinson's vocal and lots of guitar layers and improvisation [!--emo&:rock:--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/headbang.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'headbang.gif\' /][!--endemo--]
