Urf, a setlist of "omg id love to see it live" is different to a set that would work well, with correct mix of short rockers and epics.... if you were to include songs to catch newer fans it becomes even harder. So, to save myself brain ache, I will go with a mixed length "Songs I want to see live" list, and try assemble them into an order that works.

TETMD, It doesn't quite fit as an opener perfectly but it could work with dark stage + spotlight on 1 person, then when it hits the gallop rest of the band rush out and lights on.

Okay, I got stuck for ages so just went with my favourite tracks of each album, swapped a couple here and there to try and speed up the pace for the opening and where possible removed favourites in exchange for "I want to see it live even though its not my favourite" type dealies.

Second half of that setlist would be fcking long... Infact, let me tot it up. 117minutes going on album versions with no gaps between.
 
WOW, you guys are even placing them in there running order.
That would be far too difficult for this man.

I was gonna add it, but went with CSIT as the opener instead. The last couple days I haven't been able to stop listening to "From Here To Eternity". Its so damn catchy! I love Dave's solo! :wub:

Hmm. No less than 5 people didn't do what the topic opener asked: 15 songs, one from each album.

We've had an endless number of topics where people could post all kinds of setlists and this new one looks original. If you guys don't mind I'll do mine after I have done my top 50.  :)
 
Note the last line of his original post he said "2 song bonus encore"  :P So we did do what he asked.. we kept it to 1 from each album in the main 15 then 2 extra's for encore  :P
 
Hallowed is #1/2 on my list, but I would still prefer The Prisoner simply because I've never seen it live and I can see Hallowed at any gig ;) Dance of Death I'd love to see live.. but I've not seen Paschendale either, so for my list just ignore the Encore if you want to make it 15 tracks ;)

In terms of realiity, I would only exchange ROTAM for 2MTM and that would make a pretty realistic one-song-per-album setlist. Let's face it, 2008/2009 was the last time they will have played ROTAM (question for English native speakers: was this correct usage of "will have played"?) . The only possible variations would be to use El Dorado as the opener and substitute TWM with BNW and place it a couple of songs later in the set; and substitute Ben Breeg with These Colours Don't Run. Other than that, no room for variation.
