A gig on a Friday 13th? I'm sure it'll be good! Post your reviews, pictures, etc. here... and don't forget the spoiler tags!

Loved the show last night. I had my binoculars and It was like being up front. Well not really but it was great. Steve looked about as relaxed as ever as did Bruce and the Three Amigos. Talk about relaxed, Nikko came out from behind the drum set at the end of the show and he was bare foot. It looked like he was hanging in his living room. The guys looked really good. As far as  sound It was pretty good with eveyone hitting on the mark. Really perfect. Steves sound was definitly audible too. Unfortunatly, the volume was a bit too much because some times the songs sounded like noise. Blured. Bruces mike went out a few times too. No programs either. Thats Bullshit. Gotta go.

For what it was they did, they did it well.. couple little slip ups, bruce's mic went out once or twice.. the new album certainly is an amazing piece of music but I think being half the crowd there still doesn't know anywhere close to 100% of the lyrics it definitely wasn't as good as this tour may've been a bit later down the road.. Maiden was on top of their game, Bruce sounded better then he has in quite some time, a hell of a lot better then the Rock in Rio live album -- I must say at least one good part of the crowd not knowing most of the words is the majority of the singers vocals can actually be heard straight from him rather then the sound of the crowd singing over him.. i dont know about where other people were sitting but from my view, with the exception of the people in the front on the floor.. nearly no energy in the crowd whatsoever till FOTD started..bruce says, "we're playing the whole new album" and the crowd's "yay" was more of a sarcastic "yay" then a cheerful "yay"...kind've sad to see a band this amazing get a crowd reaction that poor, but then again i think they knew that would happen anyway.. typical bitching and complaining about the setlist from the masses afterwords..eitherway a great performance by maiden but the crowd just didn't have the energy i've come to expect and love at Maiden shows.

Hey death... great first post. Thanks for the review. I have a feeling it will be different in Gothenburg on Nov. 20th (At least I hope it'll be half as good as last year's show, which was bloody brilliant).

Hey people , thsi is my frist post here, been a maiden fan for years even though im only 20, and i've seem them twice and in nj on friday was FREKING INCREDIBLE! idc what anyone says, i mean it was a sold out arena show so loud and amazig, i felt like i was seeing maiden in europe, cuz you guys appreciate it more then the american fans.........Anyways during the last half of the show the place went nuts, i can see why it wasnt as loud as when they played the first 10 songs, the new songs sound great live and the fans show there support. Bruce sounded incredible....and the stage show was Killer  :) UP THE IRONS!

If anyone has pictures from the Continental Airlines show can you e-mail them to me or send me a link?
It was an awesome show, and I was a little worried about the set-list but I had a killer time as did some of my friends, especially the two first timers....

UP THE IRONS!

Listening to this show, I noticed that a remarkable thing occured during
Brighter Than A Thousand Suns.

In the middle(!) of Adrian's solo, Nicko launches into the fast part, which gives an awkward but also funny combination!
Adrian had to shorten his solo (the last quarter was left out) as the whole band had to follow Nicko. The band handled it very well, excellent job !

Nicko has made a few mistakes this tour, but overall I think his drumming is very tight and I have the greatest admiration for his performance !
