Iron Maiden Tour 2025 - Discussion

Rime is a song that is not ruined when played at a slower pace. The absence of yelling or high-pitched chorus benefits Bruce, but he might need to tweak the scream after the interlude. It would be great to see it back on the setlist.

    Bruce Dickinson

D+2 and 'Resurrection Men' have emerged as my favorites so far. The 'Change of Heart' percussion groove is so good. Definitely. I love some of Roy's previous works; even wished that Maiden's approach to guitars resembled his here and there. But this time, he dropped the ball quite a bit.

    Bruce Dickinson

I like how some of the songs sound like a 15-year-younger Bruce. Not sure what caused it in the mix/recording process though.

Iron Maiden - artworks with Eddie

Reinterpretation I did, adding a scenario to the background of the Trooper artwork.

Iron Maiden riffs that got RIZZ!

There are plenty to mention, but one that is underrated for being packed into a busy song is in 'Empire of the Clouds'. The part that shares the same melody as the line 'Fighting the wind as it rolls you...'"

What are your top five favorite live song recordings by Maiden?

    1. Dance of Death from En Vivo 2. Intro + The Wickerman from Rock in Rio 2001 3. Rime of the Ancient Mariner from Flight 666 4. The Talisman from En Vivo 5. When the Wild Wind Blows from En Vivo By the way, it's remarkable how 'The Final Frontier' has been elevated from the studio to the Flight...

Iron Maiden - artworks with Eddie

Lots of AI art popping up on Instagram. They are improving, especially DALL-E 3, which can recognize the prompt "Eddie from Iron Maiden." I've created a few very nice ones. My idea is to create one for each Maiden song.

    The Future Past Tour 2024

I believe the Senjutsu tracks are irreplaceable. DOTC stands out as the "live-made" song of the album, DOFP carries the tour's name. Time Machine integrates with the tour's theme, TWOTW is the single and main protagonist from the album (although three consecutive years playing it could be too...

    Iron Maiden Covers

Yes, it's him. The former drummer and Adrian Smith of Children of the Beast quit the band and assembled the best Iron Maiden cover musicians in the country, resulting in The Beast Experience. The three guitarists have unbelievable guitar tones, and some solos are nearly copy-and-paste to the...

Rank the Steve Solo efforts on Senjutsu

Hell On Earth > The Parchment = Lost In A Lost Word >>>>> Death of the Celts By the way, I think the Senjutsu picks for the album tour are the worst ever. It's the only time that: i) two songs from my top 4 for that specific album are not picked (Parchment and LIALW); ii) my two least favorite...

Maiden - Legacy of the Beast game Eddies

That's interesting, and I've been wondering about it for quite a while. I've been studying some ways to perform it, like gathering a few Maideniacs digital artists and using AI for creating backgrounds. The challenging part, of course, is drawing proper Eddies for each artwork. AI still...

Iron Maiden - artworks with Eddie

I don't know if it was uploaded somewhere in the forum. Maybe the best recreation of Dance of Death so far. It stays true to much of the original concept. The Eddie is exactly the same, and the stage floor also maintains the same idea. Credit: Romulo Dias (@rdd.artwork).

Cover band plays Empire Of The Clouds WITH ORCHESTRA

Former members of Children of the Beast will unite with Raphael Mendes in a new project called The Beast Experience. They will aim to make the show even more similar to Maiden, now with 6 members: they have added Vinicius Barbosa, who is possibly the best at covering Janick Gers' lines that I've...

What songs do Maiden change live?

Yep, Adrian changed the riff, but only before the drums. When the full band starts playing, they play the original riff:

    The Future Past tour 2023

The quality of their performance in Alexander just makes me ask why the hell hadn't they played it before? It seems like an easy song for all of them and would sound absolutely immense circa 2008-2012. They can even play it better than a lot of their traditional material, like Aces High.

What songs do Maiden change live?

Extended outro in "The Great Unknown".

    The Future Past tour 2023

I noticed that Adrian plays both melodies in the ATG intro, both the clean and the overdriven parts. It would sound smoother if a second guitar took over the overdriven melody wouldn't it? (This was just to offload the complaints from Nicko's shoulders LOL).
