    Judas Priest

I am not a massive fan of Judas Priest like I am of Maiden. I do like the new album a lot and I think Richie Faulkner did a phenomenal job in terms of riffs and solos. I think if Judas Priest had a varied guitar duo/trio like maiden who are also song writers bringing different styles, the...

    Judas Priest

It is impossible not to start headbanging when the riff of Escape from Reality starts at 13 seconds. This album is growing on me

    Judas Priest

My favorite track is still Panic Attack. Such a killer riff. The solos and instrumental sections are phenomenal in this album. Loved the instrumental section of the title track

    Judas Priest

Solid album but I think the songs work better individually rather than a continous listen through the album. There is a feeling of sameness. I would have liked a bit more varied song structures and intros. Senjutsu, while nowhere near as fast and furious as this, is a much more varied and...

Based on your 9.5 rating for Sonata, I am guessing your review will have absolutely nothing in common for me. But curious to read it in any case :)

    Blaze Bayley

Talented singer Tammy-Rae Bois, from South Wales (UK), who duets with Blaze on ‘Until We Meet Again.’ Gifted Dutch violinist Anne Bakker who plays on ‘Rage’ and ‘Until We Meet Again’ She has a great voice.

    Now Playing (Video Games)

Just started playing Syberia - The World Before. The original Syberia game is a point n click adventure game classic. I loved playing all the Benoit Sokal games back in the day (Paradise, Last king of Africa etc) and it was super fun to jump back into an adventure/puzzle solving game again in...

    Blaze Bayley

I can live with that. I listen to him less for his voice but more so for the maidenesque compositions. I do think Silicon Messiah is still his best

    Blaze Bayley

It would be 20 mins for me, I listened to it twice

    Blaze Bayley

He has had health issues and so if it helps his vocals stay in tune, I don't have any problems. He is no Halford or Bruce

    Blaze Bayley

Just finished listening to the album. So many good riffs and solos. I liked the effects on the vocals Feels polished and well produced. Really nice album closer as well. Probably 100× more effort put in this than mandrake project

Ghost in the bottle verse riff kicks so much ass. Great song.

I would ask you to produce my album if I was making one. Brilliant breakdown

My problem with Mandrake project isn't due to the lack of heaviness. I see great ideas scattered throughout the album but most of the songs don't work for me as a whole either due to demo quality drums, Bruce being slightly off tempo in the verses, weird transitions that seem to be patched into...

Also I think even within the maiden fanbase, the music taste is quite diverse. So I wouldn't worry at all about if some of us didn't like the album. Just listen to the album with an open mind. I liked Senjutsu a lot and still listen to it quite regularly. I like the heavier materials of Bruce...

Agreed 100% with both vaenyr and riff I do think I will go back to this album for Shadow of the gods and Mistress of mercy and nothing else. Many doors to hell didnt do it for me. I felt it belongs in Tattooed Millionaire

The 4 tracks released by Judas Priest are all so great. Amazed by the ferocity of these tracks with Panic attack being my favorite. Didn't expect it from them at this age.

"Conversely, Many Doors To Hell , which addresses the opinion of a vampire who wishes to put an end to eternity, seems to be the antithesis if we consider this vintage Hammond organ, this festive movement" I tried :help2:
