They can milk this tour for years by doing another couple of legs in places they haven’t played, then putting out a press release saying due to overwhelming demand the next leg will have songs from their entire career. Change a couple of screens, swap out five songs, done. Do all the same...
That’s a gross exaggeration. Bruce might say a few words different in an intro, Gers might mangle a solo slightly differently, Adrian might do an angry look at the drummer, the rest is the same night by night. They don’t change up the solos or the set or the encore night by night, Steve can’t...
No way is he giving up that sweet stadium money. He learnt last time how hard it is to play tiny venues. He and Adrian have been eating humble pie for the last 26 years and letting Steve call the shots because it’s financial suicide not to.
The guy is three decades older and has played stadiums for the last twenty years. His hearing is shot. He probably thinks it sounds great. These guys lose certain frequencies as they age. EVH’s guitar tone on the last album was absolute dogshit, I’m sure he thought it was perfect.
Some good quotes here from Bruce about how Martin Birch had largely retired by the time they did No Prayer. Says the album sounds like shit.

Good quote later on about...
This is an Iron Maiden discussion forum. I posted an interesting thing about Iron Maiden. People enjoyed it and posted replies.

I have no problem with Simon at all btw. I’m just thinking of a myriad of bands that have “the band” and then one or more touring members backing them up.
The Rolling Stones are officially three people now, despite all the others onstage. The last Sabbath tour it was three members with a backup...
That’s yet to be seen. They could still easily swap him out for the next project if he’s crap in the studio. Wouldn’t be a good look but they’d spin it as conflicts with existing projects or some other nonsense. They’ve yet to do a single publicity photo with him.
