Funny that people here could say what song was last played on what tour or what guitar was used on what song or what colour underpants Janick wore last Tuesday but a relatively basic question about one of their most popular songs is bringing up a handful of completely different answers …
Don’t recall it on the 98 remaster. Unless I coughed every time I played it and never noticed it.
Wiki states original album track length is 7:02 and the remaster is 7:08 …
Both have an acoustic bass intro with Steve playing a similar riff. Both have a similar anthemic guitar harmony. I fail to see how anyone with a serious interest in music can’t hear it. Maybe it’s my years in a Maiden tribute band. Seems obvious to me.
There is a 7:22 version of Phantom of the Opera on several YouTube channels, it has Paul singing “torture me back at your lair!” after ten seconds of silence at the end.
What is this version, was this officially released on something?
Makes no sense. They’ve had the same stage setup since what, 1998? They just change the artwork on the banners.
Same as the 08/09 tour … which people seem to forget was covering THREE albums - Powerslave, SIT and SSOASS. It wasn’t just a Live After Death tour.
It’ll be a quirk of the algorithm. Dream of Mirrors was the one that popped up in my feed, so it’ll be the same for others since the views are so high.
And this one a few months ago from 1995 which suggests there were only three members in the band at that point.
