I really like the verses! I love how frenetic Bruce sounds during them.

I've listened to the album three times now, and I'd say the standout tracks to me are Many Doors to Hell, Resurrection Men, Fingers In the Wounds and Shadow of the Gods. A very enjoyable listen though, some of the differences in vocals are a bit jarring but then again they were recorded years apart.

How can you make that assumption from a track list before any reviews were released?

Return of the King and Real World are also bonus tracks on that album, so you may have missed those. Return of the King in particular is a a great song!

Iron Maiden riffs that got RIZZ!

Man, there are so many good riffs on AMOLAD. These Colours Run, BTATS, The Longest Day, RoBB, Lord of Light, The Legacy. I bought the guitar tablature book years and years ago and spent hours learning all the songs.

Not really sure how I feel about the song yet! It's fun, I guess. The spoken word verses were a bit odd for me. Bruce sounds good in the chorus but I wish there was a bit more variation in the lyrics. Sounded like he was a bit out of time in one or two spots. Nice guitar solo from Roy Z.

Mate, his legs are enormous. I'm surprised they haven't had to be amputated. It will be a long time (if ever) before he walks again. Shame.

They had also not rehearsed! Paul blamed his bad mood on the jet-lag.

    Paul Di'Anno

A friend of mine saw Paul Di'Anno in Perth the other night and said he stopped three songs, shouted at his band and threatened to beat up the sound engineer and a heckler in the crowd. He also promised a free show 'next time' he's in Australia but I can't see that happening  Chris Dale is...

Good song but the pitch correction is noticeable. Same on the War Within Me album.

    The Future Past Tour 2024

I met him, John McMurtrie and a couple of other guys in the Maiden crew in 2017 at Antwerp Airport, following the opening gig of the Book of Souls 2017 tour. Lovely guys and were very happy to talk with me for ages in the bar.

Probably the best compilation album in my CD collection tbh, I've listened to it on many long car journeys

I do like Justin Hawkins but the constant stopping and starting the songs he discusses gets a bit grating after a while
