    Bruce Dickinson

Roy is going off... Again. I think no relationship in the IM member and an associate has gone so sour before. Since the Roy Z touring withdrawal, it seems that all bridges have been burned.

How Many Times Have You Seen Maiden Live?

I think I'm currently at 21 times between 2007 and 2025. But I'd need to count to be sure.

News Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

I think he stated in a S/K interview lately that it's retired from the road now. But things can change, like they did when he brought it back out in 2009. I'd say it's possible, but quite unlikely.

How Many Times Have You Seen Maiden Live?

That gig was a fucking sauna. I remember the strong irony of the backdrop being ice, while there was 40 degrees in the arena.

    Adrian Smith

My post is tied to a debate on this site long long ago that preceedes the Chuck Norris jokes. If I insulted someone with bringing this up, I apologise. But the old members on this site know, what I'm on about. And of course, rest in peace, legend.

    Adrian Smith

Chuck Norris has died. But Adrian Smith still lives. Maidenfans was right.

    Happy birthday, Steve!

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

All of H's personal Jacksons, except the prototypes and the production guitars he keeps in Malibu, have JB's. It seems like he prefers a bit less harsh sound of Alnico magnets since TBOS tour in 2016, when he equipped a production AS Ebony Jackson with a JB and used it for half of the standard...

    Bruce Dickinson

Adrian did this year in Europe, actually. Steve drives himself when they play the UK AFAIK.

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

I remember at the first gig in Budapest last year, when Churchill's speech started playing at the beginning of encore, I vaguely thought to myself "What the hell are you doing, for fucks sake". After the performance of it, I thought to myself "This was rough, and it's the first night. Why?"

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Evil is an assumption, since Steve stated that he wants to play it last year. And Clairvoyant is the logical swap.

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Nah, Alexander or Infinite Dreams. Either of those 2 instead of Aces High would make this the best Maiden setlist ever.

No, only 1972 on all Gibson guitars.

    News 18th Studio Album discussion

No, in that case there is plenty of time to spend with their families. Writing and recording is still a band activity and meaning spending 2-3 months away from home. I believe that Steve isn't as driven to write as he used to be. As I said the best indicator about potential studio activity next...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

You can reverse the neck pickup, you know (Greeny Les Paul had its neck pickup reversed by Peter Green's repair man, then turned back by Gary Moore and then reversed again in the 90's). The only way to really tell it is indeed the original bridge pickup is the Gibson stamp.

    News 18th Studio Album discussion

I think some of the band members gave an ultimatum before 2026 was booked and they compensated by taking 2027 off. I strongly believe that Iron Maiden as a touring entity past 2027 will be a 20-30 shows per year band. All likely stadiums. Bruce's touring plans for next year will reveal if they...

News Iron Maiden News, Links, and Interviews

TO be honest, I have a feeling that Steve isn't as driven as he used to be with Maiden. I don't know why. And some interviews since TBOS indicate that. I think something changed back then with the passing of some of his close friends.

And this is specifically a 1972 Gibson mini humbucker as it has Gibson stamping on it. They only did this in 1972.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Not really. And nobody never confirmed it. Adrian just said that it's a firebird pickup.

Also, I think it's important to note that the only bass apart from the main Precision that ever appeared on an Iron Maiden recording is the black Ibanez Roadstar bass. Used on about half of Piece Of Mind. There is also the red 70's precision that was used in B-rigs previously and as a backup in...
