Forostar's Top 50 Iron Maiden songs

Re: Forostar's Top 50 Iron Maiden songs Never warmed to Virus. Always found the backing vocals to be awful and while I do enjoy some of the riffage, it just petered out badly in the end.

I refuse to pick out songs I don't particularly enjoy from the 80's to counter this, latest, stupid fucking attack on this band.

Drive. Very good movie almost ruined by a tonally implausible ending Very nearly a four but had to dock it one for that ending 3/5  :(

    Alexander The Great some day!

I know this is beside the point but I, for one, would KILL to hear Blaze try Alexander in its original key

    NOW WATCHING

Paranormal Activity 3. Why do film makers feel the need to explain everything? If people find a ghost story scary, it's generally because they don't know what the hell is happening or why it's happening. And if you must do the origin story thing at least make it interesting. Not a total loss as...

Sorry to hear your health was an issue back then but at least you did get to see them quite a few times since. I'd say that Ed Hunter gig in 1999 was insane. Would've loved to have caught that. For me, The Real Live Tour gig was poor in the sense that it was so obvious that Bruce just didn't...

No prayer On The Road (Excellent), A Real Live Tour (Poor), X Factour (Depressing), Brave New World Tour (Excellent), Death on the Road (Amazing), The Early Years (Good), AMOLAD Tour (Outstanding), The Final Frontour 2010 (Excellent) The Final Frontour 2011 (Excellent). And you Forostar? What...

Oh good points there. I've never seen Aces High, Mariner, Powerslave, Moonchild so it really does seem like they could've done more with the SBIT set list. Hopefully next classic tour will bring a few more surprises.

How much caffeine do you take? Whatever the amount I'd halve it ;) I know it's hard for people to get their heads around it but Maiden have lives outside music. Families, friends and God knows what else. They are also pretty old. So if it takes 5 years then so be it. For the record, I prefer he...

That was my point. No chance Maiden will just sit around in a recording studio.

I think they could separate the two but I don't think they would want to.

If Maiden get to a point where they stop touring a new album, they'll pull the plug IMO. Touring is a massive part of this band, it's what they love to do which is why it takes so much out of them. They give it everything on that stage. Doubt they'd bother "phoning it in" on classic tours just...

The length of time between NEW ORIGINAL albums.

I think the fact that their latest original album was a massive worldwide success and the tour that followed was equally successful should make them feel they are still relevant. A three song ep will do nothing to convince idiots that they're not a cabaret act. Thankfully Maiden don't really...

LOL I was agreeing with your previous post and you're still trying to disagree with me  :S When you said "Nah, time in between albums is spent because of other reasons." I found myself nodding in agreement. Fatigue is one of those reasons and the band have said as much. There's also a desire to...

The length of time between NEW ORIGINAL albums.

Maiden needed a year off after 7th tour of a 7th tour. That was over 20 years ago, fatigue is absolutely a factor these days.

Yeah, I agree. I think Maiden know their limits better than any fan. Last thing they'll wanna do is get in a rut and end up with No Prayer/FOTD standard albums in the space of two years. Not that those albums are bad, they're not but they're in no condition to rival the reunion era material. And...

And if they went down this route, you'd have a bunch of other people saying they should do something else. Basically, Maiden are gonna do what Maiden wanna do and they're doing a great job IMO. To your first point, I reckon if The Wicker Man sounded the start of an encore it'd be received really...
