Some people seem determined that a few slow selling shows are gonna ruin the entire success of the tour.
While I am a bit puzzled by some of the venues and choices made by management, I can't agree they are doing many mistakes if any. Maybe Knebworth. But at the end of the day this tour will...
Bucharest will probably end with a result that satisfies both the promoter and band. Same with Sofia. These aren't exactly markets where they expect a sell out. Athens is already looking better than in 2022 and will end up with a good result. Bratislava is heading for a sell out, same as...
Jussi Björling's O Helga Natt is powerful stuff.
I am also very fond of the title song to Tři Ořišky Pro Popelku. You have to be Norwegian to understand.
My favourite is Fairytale of New York, although it doesn't exactly fill me with the christmas spirit.
Other favourites include
Happy Xmas...
A third show in Sao Paulo is looking likely on the 28th, and that's it for South America. But I think we might get the remaining countries announced before that one.
They are doing the stadium x2 this time, it was the stadium + arena last time. Similar to Chile 2019.
I would probably wait for at least general sale to start before making more stupid predictions.
Edit: Maybe general sale started today, but my point stands.
Ending in Japan also seems quite likely then.
And Maiden did say it will be a very busy year. If 10-12 shows are added today, we have a total of 48-50. Those are rookie numbers. Add another 7-8 shows in Australia, NZ and Japan and we get close to 60. That's more like it.
Replace Aces High with a rarity and it makes a world of difference.
I had the most stupid grin on my face in Budapest when they went from Rime to Hills and then Seventh Son. My first thought wasn't "hey, they played this song just 11 years ago".
Lets hope so. Hopefully without Napoleon and co.
It also struck me that they seem quite inspired by Rammstein on this tour. The bridge, using the soundboard as a smaller stage and having a cover band as support.
