If I am not mistaken, the Smith/Kotzen albums have been recorded at home studios, which reduces costs significantly. Furthermore, I seriously doubt they are losing money with the tour...
Steve definitely subsidises the whole British Lion thing, but I doubt that is the case with Smith/Kotzen and Bruce's solo career, which attract many more people to their shows.
I think the income from those after dinner corporate events has died out (the "turning customers into fans" probably did not have that much of a lifespan beyond the initial novelty of having a rockstar speaking at your corporate event), hence the need to diversify charging fans for autographed...
Yet they still insist on playing Aces High live... (@Ascendingthethrone We need you here! :lol: ).
I guess it is more difficult to create some animation for Infinite Dreams than it is to have some puerile dogfight with Eddie as a character of the Battle of Britain. That and also that Aces High...
