I find some of Fear of the dark album and some of the newer albums (especially Final frontier) very boring overall.

This gets harder and harder. Some good stuff this year, but not any extraordinary. So this time I voted Megadeth, Anthrax and Metallica.

True metal fans don't like them due to the commercial sound and songs, they are sell outs (the singer have said many times he write tunes to be trendy and popular), and some people think they write misogynistic lyrics as well. Me personally, I don’t care really.

Dave also kind of ruined the No Life 'till Leather re-release in 2018. He was arguing about royalties as usual. So they are not so friendly anymore

Yeah, same here. Mötley definetly have some metal riffs here and there, while Guns don’t have other than some on Chinese democracy. I love lots of grunge bands, but decided to not include them as they have lot of common with metal riffs. The fragile is definetly one of the best albums of 1999...
